Recycling is more than just a way to turn trash into recyclable items; it also has a larger impact on the environment, society, and economy. Global Warming is currently a big concern for human and other species' existence on the planet.
Fresh wood is increasingly being used in industries for a variety of purposes, such as creating pulp in the paper industry, the plywood business sector uses fresh wood to make plywood, and the transportation industry uses it to move goods. Fresh wood is also used to make wood pallets, wooden crates, and wooden boxes.As India's economy and industrialization accelerate, more than 3.5 billion pallets are produced each year, with over 15 billion pallets in use across the country by organized and unorganized sectors. Since a few years, India's plywood and furniture business has been increasing at a 30% yearly pace.
Aranyam joined the wood recycling business in 2022 and has since then become one of the main service providers for waste wood recycling. We are industry pioneers, trying to apply cutting-edge ways to recycle wood-based goods and supply them to firms who rely significantly on wood. We'll employ an integrated waste management system to help a local dispose of and recycle wood-based products, prolonging the material's life.
We set up a number of kiosks around Karnataka where people can trade wood-based items for monetary incentives like cash, vouchers or gift cards of the companies we are partnering with. Our long-term objective is to build a coordinated plantation system in which we will grow trees on lease-hold land until the lease is up for renewal. The concept of systematic tree planting and controlled tree cutting aims to address the issue of deforestation. 
Aranyam also tackles the problem of saw dust generation. Rather than discarding the saw dust as waste, Aranyam intends to compress it into hardwood ply that can be utilised for a variety of reasons. This would also make it easier for these sectors to appropriately manage garbage.
